Tanner Douglass is one of our favorite photographers, and we’ve posted his work many times on CVLT Nation. Now he’s started a new photographic project, exploring abandoned buildings around his native Pittsburgh. His photos capture the awesome combination of creepiness and wonder that our abandoned buildings inspire in us. There is something both beautiful and evil in these once busy places left to rot, and Tanner’s eye sees it all. Enjoy his awesome photos below, plus make sure to follow his Instagram @tannerdouglass for more…

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
