Breathe in the Fatal sweetness of TOTAL RUBBISH “Honey Ryder”

Caro Ramirez

DUDE. I love TOTAL RUBBISH. Their new single “Honey Ryder” has transported me back to my first experiences with music that I loved like only the teenage soul can – with rabid obsession. Listening to this song makes me feel cool as fuck but also like someone just slathered aloe vera on my burnt out mind. It’s a track off their Triple Negative EP that comes out on November 20 via Born Losers Records – pre-order it here and from the record label shop. It’s a beautiful blend of grunge, garage, and shoegaze that I’m inhaling deeply and floating away on. The vocals are soothing but deadly, like they’re luring you into a bear trap lined with mink. When the full EP comes out I know it’s going to be in heavy beautiful day rotation! Right now we’re stoked to be bringing you an exclusive premiere of the video for their single “Honey Rider,” so hit play below and come with me on a lovely trip…

Inspired by the first babe in a long line of babes – Honey Ryder, the first-ever “Bond Girl” from 1962’s “Dr. No”
