WTF, the new collabo effort between Swamp G and SandmansDead entitled Quantum Leap 2 is a tapestry of verbal gymnastics mixed with otherworldly production! From the very first track, “Igneous (feat.. Fall, blindsight & DaiPerc),” you will realize this record hits different. What I love about this is the ghosts that live within the beats. Meaning all kinds of interesting sounds are floating within the depths of this out-of-this-world production. Then we have SWAMP G, whose wordplay sounds like Kool Keith smoking on Wiz exhaling 2 Chains and breaking off the world a whole lot of Deltron 3030.
We all know that the world is a pretty dark place right now, which is why big tunes like “Sunbathe” bring much-needed light into my life! Quantum Leap 2 is a record that reveals something new to you with each listen. I got to give it up again to SandmansDead for manifesting soundscapes that are portals to new universes!
