Street Gangs of LA Documentary

This documentary takes a look at Los Angeles gangsters during the 70’s, before they became rich from 80’s crack craze! Watching this makes me wonder what became of these young people…were they allowed to achieve their dreams, or did they get caught up in the prison system? This visual is a flash back in time to when gangs did not have automatic weapons, but dealt with police brutality all the same. Certain things have changed, so many things in South Central has stayed the same. Now the Cali gangs are a worldwide issue, not just an L.A. issue.
