Watch the Stunning and Harrowing Video for STONEBIRDS “Collapse and Fail”

Gael Mathieu

Do you like music with bone-crushing heaviness? The kinds of songs that feel like the band is trying to iron you flat with sonic waves alone? Then you’ll dig the video we’re premiering today for heavy psych band Stonebirds! “Collapse and Fail” is directed by none other than Chariot Of Black Moth, and it’s the title track off their recent release Collapse and Fail that’s out now on Ripple Music. This is like that mushroom trip where you entered the vastness of the universe and discovered that we’re all made of mud and it was terrifying but also elating at the same time. Not only is the video a visual majesty, the song itself is harrowing and violent in the way that only nature can be. Check it out right here:

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
