So with each crunch of a cornflake, you are left wondering, did I just eat a cockroach egg? “STAR CRUCIFIED” and “SWALLOWED WHOLE” are down-tuned anthems that will leave you covered in audio filth that you can only wash away with repeated listens. “ONLY PAIN & SUFFERING WILL MAKE YOU REALIZE WHO YOU ARE” is a song that proves that this band is creating from a space that is all of their own. Imagine if the atmospheric terror of The Body decided to morph into the Nihilistic Blues of EYEHATEGOD before transforming into the Dirge of Scratch Acid, the final form would sound like SLOWHOLE’s debut.
They create Sludge in their own fucked-in-the-head likeness! On the vocal and musical tip, SLOWHOLE is rad AF! To understand this band, you must listen to this record in all of its insane glory.
