The almighty SECRET CUTTER is back and I’m fucking here for it for sure! Their new album /// is an exercise in Sonic Brutality that never relents! Throughout 10 gnarly tracks, this band proves they can’t be fucked with when it comes to creating Power Industrial Sludge. I can’t front, they know how to manifest anthems that move fast but hit slow. This means they worship at the D-TUNED altar of Dirge while injecting their tunes with an unhealthy dose of speed. So they know how to balance audio opposites to create a sound that is truly their own!
At times, when I listen to SECRET CUTTER, I feel as if I’m in an Acid Free Jazz universe run by Powerviolence zombies. The vocals you will encounter on /// will make your skin melt away! On the music tip, this band knows how to play their instruments so well you will think to yourself, unholy fuck, this sound is RAD! As I take in this album, I realize that life is all about balance.
