Repent for the Riffs of The Reverend Mother S/T EP

Doom & Gloom Co.

The past year has been life-changing for most of us, and so Brooklyn’s Priestess has ascended from one of doom and psych’s handmaidens to Reverend Mother of them all! With their debut release under the new name, the Reverend Mother EP that comes out this Friday (pre-order it here), they channel the divine wisdom of riffage and reverbs into the open minds of devotees worldwide. Songwriter and vocalist Jackie Green (Evil Daughter) leads us through communion to the goddesses and gods of rhythm and fuzz on these two sublimely heavy tracks. Today we’re very excited to invite you to kneel before Reverend Mother’s new s/t EP and let the glory of doom enter your soul…

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
