Three Really Weird Cases of Necrophilia

A few years ago, we re-published an interview with necrophiliac Karen Greenlee that really weirded me out. Since then, I’ve been meaning to look up some more cases of necrophilia to satisfy my morbid curiosity, and besides the obvious ones – Dahmer, Bundy, Gein, etc. – I found some really weird ones involving threesomes, bestiality, and dead grandmas. To be honest, I think every case of necrophilia is weird – yes, I am being judgey about fucking dead things – but these three just went off in another direction of weirdness. Sex With Roadkill

Bryan James Hathaway lived in Wisconsin, so he had surely seen a lot of roadkill in his life. But one day as this 18-year-old was driving down the street, he spotted a dead deer and couldn’t help himself but to drag it into the bushes. One there, he had sex with the deer’s corpse, an act that he knew was wrong, but I guess it felt too right to stop. It’s not exactly clear how he was apprehended for the act, but he was later convicted of “gratification with an animal” and sentenced to psychiatric treatment. It wasn’t the first time he had been charged with animal-related crimes; a year earlier, he plead no contest to “felony animal mistreatment,” when he shot and killed a 26-year-old Arabian horse in order to have sex with its corpse.

On a Bed of Corpses

Joilet, Illinois teen Alisa Massaro had been fantasizing about sex with the dead for a few years before she came up with a plan to make it a reality. The 18-year-old, her boyfriend Joshua Miner, and two other friends,  Adam Landerman and Bethany McKee, made her fucked up dream come true. McKee lured two 22-year-old men to a house with the promise of sex, where they were strangled by Milner and Landerman and then hog-tied. They draped a sheet over the two corpses, and then Milner and Massaro – and possibly Landerman – had sex on top of the bodies. Romantic!

With Someone’s Dead Grandma

New Jersey lab tech Anthony Merino was caught in the act having sex with the corpse of a 92-year-old woman at his job at Holy Name Hospital. A security guard happened in to the morgue, where Marino was in the process of sexually assaulting the body. He had only been working at the hospital for 2 weeks at the time. He was initially sentenced to 7 years in prison, but his sentence was reduced a year later to time served.
