Oh man, I feel like I could watch this psychedelic celebration of everything blasphemous again and again! VINCAS has just released a video for their track “Black Rose” off of their LP Deep In The Well (Learning Curve Records) and it’s a sick and twisted acid trip through weird biblical imagery and fucked up humanity. GA’s Vincas describe their sound as “swamp-groove psych-raunch,” and I don’t think I could come up with a more apt description of their sound. This video is exactly what you’d want to scare the pants off some Bible Belt Southern conservatives – actually, it’s twisted enough that Christians could use it to scare each other, Hell house-style.
