Gloom Sleeper inject a healthy dose of pop sensibility into their brand of Post Punk and I am not mad at them. Their music is urgent and full of soaring parts that make me feel good with each listen. This band reminds me of my favorites parts of R.E.M. before they hit the big time. Gloom Sleeper’s new LP LUMINOUS GALAXIES is coming out in April 2018 on Per Koro Records in Europe and Dirt Cult Records in the United States.
