At 50 Avenue B in Manhattan, Lovecraft Bar has opened a portal to the fantastic depths where Cthulhu reigns, a darkly lit place of copper and stone, gorgeously painted and fitted with port holes and phosphorescence. Central to the bar is the Cthulhu mural painted by local artist Benjamin Enzfelder, and every detail has been perfected, from the textured bronze walls to the book page tables. Since Lovecraft has been hugely influential on metal music and dark art, this bar is the perfect place for you to go and sit, wallowing in drink while contemplating the morbid philosophies and fates of humankind…
