Avant Garde

Take a Trip to the Outer Limits of your mind! THISQUIETARMY x AWAY ‘The Singularity, Phase I’

What happens when two musicians who are adept at creating stunning audio atmospheres come together to weave a sonic tapestry of galactic proportions? You get The Singularity, Phase I, an album that aims to light the fires of exploration under human consciousness and send our souls lightyears away from here! THISQUIETARMY X AWAY is a collaboration between Eric Quach (Thisquietarmy) and Michel “Away” Langevin (Voivod), where these two foundational musicians explore a sci-fi drone landscape that shows their cosmic genius and vast experience across five tracks that are named like alien transmissions. The album feels like a journey as it builds in momentum and carries you into a universe ruled by gorgeous drones and magical tones and shamanistic post-punk-esque drums. As the record title suggests, this is just the first phase of the collaboration, and you can order it from P572 Records here. Right now, transcend your plane of existence through The Singularity, Phase I.

The first collaborative sci-fi drone metal album from Thisquietarmy (Eric Quach) and Michel “Away” Langevin of Voivod. The two world travellers secretly recorded hours of music together, and this is only phase one. 500 copies pressed on neon blue vinyl. Heavyweight 24pt flip side jacket with printed inner sleeve and mysterious spot matte varnish. Comes with an Away glow-in-the-dark silkscreen art print and a postcard.
