Sometimes it’s the voice that reigns supreme! Sometimes it’s the voice that guides your mind into a state of bliss. Case in point is the new jam from Osnova entitled “Verity.” Don’t get it twisted — everything about this track is ethereal gold and will have you pressing your replay button! We are stoked to share with you their new visual and we also want to give a shout to Dune Altar for putting out the new Osnova record “Rise the Sun” on April 13th.
“Verity” comes from the perspective of a struggle with mental health. The narrator copes with a debilitating depression by escaping into the world of sleep. Much preferring the dream world to reality, the narrator starts to question which world is really their truth (or verity): the woken world or the dream world? Thus comes the narrator’s plea for the listener to allow them to stay in their preferred world as a desperate attempt to escape their unbearable woken realities.
