BITCHCRAFT: Occult Themed 60s & 70s Men’s Magazines

From the socially rigid pre-WWII era came the post-war, free-loving, society-rejecting era of the 1960s and 1970s, and the rise of Satanism as a part of popular culture saw the occult seeping into the mainstream. It only made sense that the smut mag industry would capitalize on a theme that was so often associated with sex – the Church of Satan’s notorious nude alter ceremonies captivated the public with their wickedness. So, for a time, publications popped up catering to the occult-minded masturbator, like BITCHCRAFT – a BDSM-themed witchy occult porn mag; SATAN’S SCRAPBOOK; BLACK MAGIC; SATAN (devilish entertainment for men), and more. These inspire me to take up bitchcraft and scrapbooking ASAP. Check out some of the awesome covers below…
