Hey MORGAN WRIGHT — if you read this, I want you to know that your last album Class Tourist is perfect and I listen to it on the regular! This collection of songs makes me want to dance while at the same time they hit me on an emotional level! A composition like “Thinker’s Disease” oozes its way into my brain and makes me realize dreams are more than just dreams that are portals into our future. Yo Morgan on the song “Bootlicker” you outdid yourself in the way you mixed Drum and Bass with sublime sonic textures to create a masterpiece. If I could turn on everyone I know on to Class Tourist I would because it’s that damn awesome! Another morose banger is “I Think Of You,” the vocals on this song are spot on and the track is rad ( I never want this song to end)! This record is so many things and yet everything sounds and feels so organic! “Last Seasons Meta” is a sonic offering that I will be spinning the next time I DJ and I know I will expand a couple of minds in the process. Morgan, I realize you create dance music but I want you to realize it’s much more than that — it’s music that hits the listener deep in their souls! Class Tourist is out now via Burning Rose!
