Experience the Heavy Noise Rock of LOWER SLAUGHTER “Dear Phantom”

Do you like noise? Do you like heavy? Do you like fuzz? Do you like melody? Because you can get all of that and more on the new single from LOWER SLAUGHTER called “Dear Phantom”! It’s the first single off their upcoming record announced today, Deep Living, that’s coming out via HUMAN WORTH on June 6th — pre-order it here. It’s part stripped-down jangling rock riffs and part thick stoner licks and all pummelling, crushing percussion! Today we’re excited to be able to share their video for “Dear Phantom,” so check that out below!

“Dear Phantom” ended up being one of the trickiest and longest songs for us to write for the album overall (both musically and lyrically), but we plowed on, stuck to our guns and the eventual payoff was for us a proper “fists in the air”, heavy rager! For the video, we teamed up with local filmmaker Dan Skelt, who helped produce a video that quite simply captures us and our energy as a group, as purely as possible. The video was filmed in the same room that we write and practice in, and serves as a snapshot of who we are and what we do, whilst also drawing on the more sinister and expansive side of our sound – with some nifty effects and the like added in of course!
