How Will Your Tattoos Look 40 Years Later?

When I’m white-haired and sagging under the weight of my experiences, the world is going to look very different. For one thing, the stereotype of what an older person looks like/dresses like is changing with each generation. Our generations don’t feel the need to throw off the trappings of our youth when we hit 30 or 40 (OK, some people still do, and then you have 18 year olds wearing “mom” jeans…). So what’s the senior landscape going to look like when I’m in my 60s? Well, many of us are going to be tattooed with images that catalog our loves, lives and memories. The wrinkled forearms of charity directors will sport full sleeves and your family doctor might have tattooed knuckles. Not to mention the baggy earlobes and septum piercings on the school principle. The following photos are awesome portraits of older people with impressive tattoos, and might be something you can show your parents when they say, “yeah, but what will they look like when you’re 50/60/70??” This is what they’ll look like – fly as fuck!
