Hear the evolution of HIGH FIGHTER on “When We Suffer”

Basti Grim

HIGH FIGHTER has those bluesy riffs I look for in my heavy music. Today we’re stoked to share a track off their upcoming record Champain entitled “When We Suffer”! This song is rough around the edges but still clean and precise, and the vocals soar over the instruments in true ballad fashion. The track features guest vocals from Downfall of Gaia’s Anton Lisovoj, and they only make the track and the record more compelling! Champain is out July 26th via Argonauta Records, and the pre-order is live right here. Right now, watch and listen to “When We Suffer” below…

It is a real pleasure and honour for me to be added to this record. Besides the fact that all Fighters became real friends over the last few years, it was a fantastic feeling to work with these talented musicians.

– Anton Lisovoj

We feel stoked Anton is a part of our Champain. Having toured with Downfall of Gaia a couple of times and since then became close friends, we are also big fans of his vocal colourtones. We could not think about someone more perfect for “When We Suffer,” which may be the only kind of a “ballad” on the entire record if you could even say so, all the more it’s a perfect match having such a great Black Metal vocalist like Anton, giving this song its very special vibe.
