Float away on the dreamy Art Pop of JOHNNY DYNAMITE & THE BLOODSUCKERS “Bats In The Woods”

So much dark truth is being exposed every day it’s overwhelming. It can be really difficult to find oxygen in a society that feels like it’s sinking deeper into the mire of its own karma every day. At the same time, we need energy and inspiration to keep moving and haul ourselves out of the disaster our leaders have made of our world. For me, music is a way to lift my spirit out of the pit of despair and remind me of my strength to keep fighting. Today I’m grateful that Johnny Dynamite & The Bloodsuckers came across my desk because I need these synthtastic art-pop sounds to float away on! They’re giving me something to dance and feel whole and smile about. Their new record Sleeveless comes out today via Born Losers Records — pick it up here. Right now enjoy their video for “Bats In The Woods” and check out Sleeveless below that.

Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey.
