Extreme Body Mods and The People that Love Them

Humans have been modifying their bodies since the beginning of time. I am all for free expression, and for not judging people for what they choose or do not choose to do with their bodies! I enjoy looking at different kinds of body modifications, even knowing that I would never do it myself. I found this rad tumblr full of extreme body modification photos and now it’s time for you to see some for yourself! All photos from Body Mod Universe.

Let em do what they want. Quit being concerned about how it affects their careers or what they’ll think of their mods 20+ years from now. Y’all are weak. This doesn’t affect you. Let people do what they want. Who cares, we all die.

I remember having a emo haircut. It was stupid, but reversible. Accepting idiocy such as this is retarded and not reversible for the most part. If I am embarassed for that haircut, imagine these idiots in 20 years.

I’d like to know what these people with gaping holes on their faces do for a living. I got denied for a job as a janitor 10 years ago because of tattoos on my hands.

I get your point (and I’m curious too, in this case), but a lot of those standards have been relaxed quite a bit. I work in retail – which can become a career, contrary to popular opinion – alongside people with forearm/hand tattoos. While I would never encourage people to go as far as those in the above picture, I think it’s healthy and important for society to realize that there isn’t a direct correlation between body mods/art and work ethic, much like there isn’t one with attractiveness or weight.

Andrew Fawcett I’m in retail too right now. Funny thing is after I got denied the minimum wage job pushing a mop I got hired at a factory setting up and running CNC and laser systems.

“I am all for free expression, and for not judging people for what they choose or do not choose to do with their bodies!” I think some of these extreme things are, um kinda too extreme, ergo I must be against free expression and for judging people! Lame strategy.

Give them ten years and they will be wallowing in self pity. This really is pathetically stupid. Enjoy it while you are still blind to your idiocy guys.

I have no proplem with people adapting themselves , but I wish they would consider their lives in twenty years , I have piercings from the late 80s , and early 90s still in , but I took an awful lot more out ! That guy with the cheek holes …. that’s nearly impossible to rectify surgically , because the disc of flesh is removed . Ears used to be stretched gradually , allowing a return , but posers took to using leather punches to speed it up . Problems ahead 😉
