Experience the Enchanting Post- Punk of WINGTIPS “Wish U The Best”

I don’t know what CVLT Nation looks like from the outside. But the reality of it is that over the course of the past decade, we’ve woken up feeling optimistic and inspired some days, and tired and hopeless on others. On those tired and hopeless days, the love of each other and of the underground community has helped us push through. Sticking to the gut feeling that by choosing to dedicate ourselves to this site day after day, we’re building something that is changing the world and inspiring people, even when it feels like we’re not. While I’m watching the visually captivating and sonically enchanting video for Wingtips‘ new single “Wish U The Best,” I’m thinking about how often we don’t see each others’ struggle. Their dreamy, synth-driven post-punk cuts through the filters of perfect success we place on partners, acquaintances, and strangers. Instead of getting stuck in a mantra of our personal fight vs. everyone else’s victory, we’re all better served by wishing each other the best, and meaning it. This addictively dance-worthy song is off their sophomore record Cutting Room Floor that comes out September 3rd via Artoffact Records — pre-order it here. And for everyone who needs to get out and dance off the worldwide struggle, their 2021/2022 tour starts Saturday, August 28th — check all the dates below. Today watch our premiere of Wingtips video for “Wish U The Best”! To everyone reading this, I truly wish you the best in life.
