It’s time to enter the strange universe of BINX! They make some of the most captivating art I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing in a while. It’s an alternative universe ruled by all the creepy things you can imagine. To create these masterpieces, they use photoshop and a process known as diffusion AI; from what I understand, the AI adds layer after layer of Gaussian noise over an image and then learns how to remove the layers until it gets the original image back. Even in explaining that, I have no fucking clue what exactly Binx is doing to get such unbelievably rich and enthralling results (they mentioned Disco Diffusion and Huemin’s JAX in one of their comments, if that helps).
