As the sorrow of the world washed over me, I decided to plug my reality into the new Funeral Doom release from DROMOS, out now via Dry Cough Records. Real talk, this band’s music is the motherfucking BOMB! As I immerse my brain cells into the slow-moving sonic dirge that is the song “Caveat Emptor,” the atmosphere and space that this band manifests is thrilling. The tones amplified in this song are UN-FUCKING-REAL. I swear, the dark, majestic riffs you will encounter on this tape are beyond suffocating!
What will also blow your mind is the vocal performance, because it’s both chilling and demented. I must say that listening to Memorial Moss makes me think about all of the harm I dream of doing to the followers of Benjamin Netanyahu for all of their murderous deeds! The music that DROMOS creates makes my heart cry for my ancestors who suffered at the hands of white supremacy, but I know that oppressors will get their just due. I hope this band knows that I fully rate them and respect them for manifesting downtuned music that is uplifting in its own fucked up way.
