CVLT Nation Premiere: THE FIFTH ALLIANCE “Your Abyss” Video

The Netherlands’ THE FIFTH ALLIANCE just released their new album Death Poems, and it is a true post rock gem. Today we’re lucky to be premiering their new video for “Your Abyss,” and it’s a gorgeous, bleak visual paired with a melancholy, passionate track. Directed by Teis Albers, the heavy black and high contrast of the visual creates a feeling of sinking into an abyss, a place of nothingness, and the music pulls you into the portal the visuals open. You can pick up Death Poems on CD here, on cassette here or on vinyl here!

Meghan MacRae grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but spent many years living in the remote woods. Living in the shadow of grizzly bears, cougars and the other predators of the wilderness taught her about the dark side of nature, and taught her to accept her place in nature's order as their prey. She is co-founder of CVLT Nation.
