Clovvder sends shivers down my spine. Their dark ambient industrial sounds catch my heartbeat and take me somewhere deep and dark inside myself. Somewhere that is so vast and filled with everything I pretend to ignore that it could take years to explore, or seconds when I’m having the right kind of audio experience that triggers memories and understanding I wasn’t aware I had. That’s the effect that Clovvder’s music has on me, and I think we all need some sonic catharsis these days so I want to share this special music with you. Their new tape Montevidead is a recording of a live show that took place in their hometown of Montevideo, Uruguay on 9/19/19, and it comes out later this month on Breathe Plastic – pre-order it here. Their ominous sound feels like a foreshadowing when you’re listening to it in 2020, and maybe that’s why the universe chose to unleash it on the rest of the world this year. Right now, take a few moments for yourself and go within while you listen to Clovvder’s forthcoming offering below…
