There’s a vibe in the new single from M!R!M called “Faultless Pitch” that sends me back to dressing up in my mom’s work dresses and strutting around like I was an 80s lady. It’s that sophistication but make it weird. The melting vocals and weird electronics leave no doubt that this song is present-day darkwave/dream pop even if it’s taking me back 35 years. The video is visually stunning, a weird and wonderful celebration of disembodied and disguised. “Faultless Pitch” is off their new record Time Traitor comes out on April 22 via AVANT!
