There’s something magical about FearDorian’s music. He’s taking rap in and dosing it with DMT so it has a life-changing epiphany and lets go of the forms it’s been trying to fit into. When it comes out of FearDorian’s brain and mouth and fingertips it’s freeform, fuzzy, and dreamy, almost a kind of hip hop shoegaze. I’m listening to his debut record FearDorian and like the production he’s done for other projects, his record has a deep, thumping heartbeat supporting exquisite, ethereal melodies, and his almost disorienting, layered vocals are the perfect bridge in between.
