Enter the Weird and Woozy World of THE RED WINDOW “Silver Paper”

If you forgot you wrote a song in a trance, how would it sound? That’s a question that The Red Window can answer. Synthpunk pioneer Jeremy Kolosine put his witching hour musings on tape using a handheld device called a PMA-5, and when his bandmate Josh Strawn discovered a forgotten, dreamy track, he and Kolosine reimagined it as “Silver Paper.” With a steady heartbeat and disturbed melody, “Silver Paper” takes me into my disorienting dream world which has only gotten weirder since I quit the booze. It has me seeing visions of the dozens of Buffys that I had to pick off with nothing but a bow and arrow last night.
